Playing on Bedrock

Phone, tablet, console or Windows - how Bedrock players join and what is different.

Prism runs on Java Edition, and Bedrock players join through a bridge: you play on the same server, in the same world, with the same people.

Join

1. Play → Servers → Add Server
2. Server address: prismp.net
3. Port: 19132

On consoles (Switch, Xbox, PlayStation) adding servers is hidden by default - search for "Bedrock add server console" or ask on our Discord.

Your name

In game your name gets a dot in front: Xbox gamertag Sig Light becomes .Sig_Light. Use this name when someone wants to invite you, and in the store.

What is different

• The custom menus show as plain item menus - everything still works the same.
• The 3D words and figures in the lobby are sent as Bedrock models.
• Some Java-only touches (like the moving name colours) look simpler.
